Dr Jyoti Sawant
Dr. Jyoti Sawant is a highly skilled Ayurvedic doctor and a renowned Panchakarma specialist. With her deep-rooted commitment to Ayurveda, she has made a significant impact in the field of holistic healthcare.
She runs Panchakarma Clinics located in Bicholim and Sankhali where she has created healing spaces where individuals can experience the transformative power of Ayurvedic therapy
Driven by her passion for promoting Ayurveda, she has been successfully treating patients through Pure Ayurveda for the past 19 years, establishing herself as a trusted healer.
Dr.Jyoti is a Charter President of the Innerwheel Club of Bicholim and an active member of the Rotary Club of Bicholim.
Dr Pankaj Sainekar
Dr Pankaj holds a Bachelor’s degree in Yoga from Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth.
He is a distinguished yoga practitioner and educator with an exceptional track record in the field of yoga. With a passion for promoting health and wellness through yoga, he has achieved multiple world records, cementing their reputation as a trailblazer in the yoga community.
His most noteworthy accomplishments is the record for performing continuous surya namaskar for an astounding 24 hours. During this incredible feat, they completed an astonishing 5598 rounds of surya namaskar & this remarkable achievement has been officially recognized and registered with the prestigious Harvard World Records.
He has obtained the esteemed QCI Level 3 certification (Yog Guru) from the Ayush Ministry, Government of India.
Rahul Gaikwad
Rahul Gaikwad, an accomplished hospitality professional, joins GIST with a robust background. He studied at the renowned Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition, Delhi.
Rahul is not only an educator but also a seasoned practitioner. He has taught at St. Xavier’s College, Mapusa, and the Agnel Institute of Food Craft and Culinary Science, Agnel Ashram, Verna.
Beyond the classroom, Rahul has managed prestigious resorts, including Marbella Resort in Morjim, and served as General Manager at The Cape Goa in Cabo de Rama, Canacona, and The Indus Valley in Leh, Ladakh.
His wealth of experience and dedication make Rahul Gaikwad a valuable addition to the GIST faculty, where he continues to inspire and mentor future hospitality professionals.

Dr Abhishek Karmali
Dr. Abhishek Karmali has over two decades of experience dealing with students at the Higher Education Level in Goa having worked as the Head of the management department at one of Goa’s top undergraduate management colleges. Besides his experience in the field of academics he has also worked in the corporate sector with exposure to diverse areas like Finance, Advertising and Shipping & Logistics. In terms of his educational qualification he is a PhD with an MBA at the Post Graduation Level. Currently Dr. Karmali has set up his own enterprise by the name Career Crafters which specialises in Career Counseling and Skills Training.
Neenad Rajagolkar
Neenad brings over two decades of invaluable experience as a marketing and communications as consultant as well as various positions in well-known corporate entities. With a rich background spanning both the pharmaceutical industry and agencies, Neenad has a particular interest in the digital channels of Marketing.
For the past 15 years, he has been an founder of agencies such as Amplify – Intelligent Marketing and Exemplar Strategic Solutions.
Prior to his agency roles, he contributed significantly to the success of companies including German Remedies, Lundbeck, and Bharat Biotech. This extensive industry background makes him a valuable asset to our institution and a source of inspiration for our students as they embark on their educational journey in marketing and communication
